Adjust the picture with video filters

The filters are brightness, contrast and saturation from 0% to 200%, plus grayscale, invert and night mode. Once you are signed in (what sign-in adds), press Ctrl + Alt + F to open the Filters tab in the widget.

The controls

ControlRange or effectKey
Filters tabOpens and closes the Filters tabCtrl + Alt + F
Brightness0% to 200%Slider
Contrast0% to 200%Slider
Saturation0% to 200%Slider
GrayscaleOn or offCtrl + Alt + G
InvertOn or offCtrl + Alt + I
Night modeOn or offCtrl + Alt + T

100% is the picture as the site sends it. Below 100% is less, above is more, and each slider stops at 200%. Reset All Filters on the same tab puts everything back.

When each one helps

A screen recording with pale gray text on white is hard to read. Raise the contrast.

On a bright afternoon a dark video is hard to see. Raise the brightness.

A whiteboard lecture late at night is a white rectangle in a dark room, so press Ctrl + Alt + I to invert it, or Ctrl + Alt + T for night mode.

Presets

Set the three sliders the way you want them and save the result as a preset on the Filters tab. You can save up to 20 presets, and since presets are part of your settings, they can be included when you export your settings.

More picture controls

Two other widget tabs change the picture, and neither one is the Filters tab.

Filters change how the video is drawn in your browser. A screenshot or a download is a separate control.

The filter keys sit in the full table in Default shortcuts, and Change a shortcut has the steps to move one.
