Moving from Video Image Control ( new gamma )
Video Image Control corrects the picture. Here filters and looks do that job, and most of them need a connected account.
Last checked 2026-11-07. A picture-correction extension: sharpness, brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma, grayscale, sepia, rotate and flip, with speed from 0.5x to 2.5x. Check Video Image Control ( new gamma ) yourself.

- Install Video Controls Plus for your browser: Install Video Controls Plus.
- Connect your account: connect your account. Filters need it.
- Set brightness, contrast and saturation with video filters, and sharpen under Visual effects and zoom.
- Speed goes well past 2.5x here: Control the playback speed.
- Turn Video Image Control ( new gamma ) off on your browser's Extensions page, so two extensions don't answer the same keys. Remove it once your own sites work.
Each browser keeps an extension's settings to itself, so nothing carries over. You set them once here.
Who is better off with which
- Choose Video Image Control if you want gamma and sharpness sliders on the picture and only a little speed control.
- Choose Video Controls Plus if you want filters and speed to 16x, A-B loop, notes and an account, on Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
