About Video Controls Plus

Video Controls Plus began as "Udemy Video Playback Speed Controls", a speed control for one site, and the Video Controls Plus team builds and maintains it. Today it ships for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

What it is

It's a browser extension. You set the speed, loop a part, and change the sound and the picture of the video on the page you are watching, from the keyboard or the widget. It works on YouTube, Netflix, LinkedIn, Udemy, Vimeo, and any other site with a standard video, and it has extra tools on YouTube, Netflix and LinkedIn.

Who maintains it

The Video Controls Plus team writes the extension, these docs and the release notes. What changed in each release is in the changelog.

The docs describe what the extension does today, and a control that needs a sign-in says so on its page.
